Not a good start to the week.

Today, I had to take a pay cut. A $1,650.00 pay cut to be precise, not a yearly pay cut, a monthly pay cut. Because my boss' idea did not work, he will be filing personal bankruptcy next week. He gets a commission from his clear accounts with the insurance company, but they will be swallowed by the bankruptcy courts.

This means no extra credit card payments and smaller tax savings. It could be worse I could be unemployed. We will still be able to save, which I am relieved about. As soon as my boss' new accounts are built up, my pay will go back up.

My husband is NOT happy. He doesn't like the company I work for anyway. This is like waving a red rag at a bull!

I also stepped in cat sick this morning (with bare feet).

New Business Shelved

Our new business did not go as well as we hoped. After tonight's round of commercials it will be shelved. For how long I am not sure. We need to re-group and figure out what we did wrong, and how we can make it right. We got a lot of positive e-mails and also a lot of hate mail. It turned out to be quite a backlash.

Everyone is very disappointed, with gas being such a hot topic, we thought it would really go over well. I think part of the problem may be that it's election year and people think the next president will solve the energy problem...Just like the last seven administrations have. Don't hold your breath on that one!

A step back

This month has turned out to be very expensive. With hubby starting to teach he has had to buy some things for his class room. He gets $150 from the school to do so. Unfortunately, we have to pay out of pocket up front...UGH. Today I took a cash advance on one of our credit cards. $500.00 to be precise, I hate doing it, but we are living on one wage at the moment, and to be honest I did not plan for these expenses. I do however get paid $500 around the 20th, so that should pay off the $500 that I took out. I hope hubby does not need to buy anything else!

UGH

A few weeks ago I had my air conditioning fixed in my car. $350 later it's still not blowing cold. I am planning to take it to the dealer as soon as I get the chance, since they fixed it in the first place, I am hoping that they'll do this for free. I am wondering if they had to darin out the freon and forgot to put it back? Just a guess.

New Business

Long time no post. Our new business will launch with a nationwide commercial on Glenn Beck tonight. As soon as the commercial airs I will be posting the website address on this blog. We look forward to having your support!

Just a quick post!

Things are crtazy at the office right now. Our new business will be launched next week and we are making sure all the "i's" are dotted and the "t's" crossed. I am pulling 14 hours days as is my boss. I am tired but very exited. Just keep your fingers crossed that this goes off without a hitch!!

Take That BOA!!

Today I paid $244.90 onto the BOA card. This card is now paid off! How excited are we? Bank Of Omaha "Come On Down!" I am doing a little happy jig in my chair right now!

I also need to start updating this blog on a regular basis, things are CRAZY at work, the weekends are not much better!
